What went well and why

My visit today was extremely unexpected as I had already had what was supposed to be my final practical visit three days prior. I was very shocked when the visitor walked into the room however I believe how unaware I was to the chance of a visit resulted in my lesson actually running how it naturally does on a daily basis. I was very happy with my overall result, although somewhat disappointed that it wasn’t the best it could be.

The effectiveness of my planning was e=very strong. The AEDP (shape) thought linked with the support artist, which then linked with the theme a task of the lesson. Each aspect of the lesson had been thought out in detail so that the pupils could see correlation throughout. As many pupils have the mentality of ‘What is the point’ or ‘why do I need to do this’. It is important that the lessons are planned to necessity for the pupils learning.

Even better if - resources

I had planned to photocopy secondary resources for the pupils that day however the photocopy machine was not working and this could not be possible. Due to this I did not have sufficient resources for the pupils to draw from when producing their mind maps. In future I must be heavily resourced, especially in the drawing stage as this is the beginning of the idea stage for pupils. If I do not resource them enough then in turn this could be a set up for failure for them.
