I am a dedicated and enthusiastic person and take pride in not only my own work but the work of my students. I feel their results are the criteria which we as teachers measure ourselves by. We must take careful consideration in their success as much as our own.

As an educator I feel have a duty to provide the best possible educational opportunity for the students.  I feel there is so much more to the role. As an art teacher I feel I can offer the students much more than just the subject of art. Art can be used as a vessel to teach about cross curricular subjects, society, the environment and the world itself.  It can be a place for students to express themselves, their individuality or a place of mindfulness. As a teacher, it would be my intention to incorporate all the above values during my teaching classes and give my students the opportunity and information they require for their future choices.

What strives my inspiration and motivation is to produce art that is a commentary on issues. Whether they be environmental, political or social, all work produced is to highlight and help those who are misheard, mistreated or misunderstood.
